Compassionate Kenilworth applied for a Community Grant from Kenilworth Town Council to continue their ‘Winter Warm Hub Project’ and fund the new Community Development Coordinator Role.  Earlier this year, CK identified the need for an additional role as their multiple hubs and various support projects, which were instigated as a result of the cost of living crisis, became operational.

Compassionate Kenilworth is a registered charity who aim to address social isolation, improve health outcomes and make Kenilworth a happier place to live. We do this by mapping the community to identify gaps in provision, source funding and delivery and plug those
gaps.  They have fantastic working partnerships with all areas of the community including local, district and county councils, primary and secondary schools, Kenilworth GP surgeries and other health supports as well as local faith institutions, not for profits, local service clubs and businesses. As such, they can respond quickly to identified needs and develop programs of support swiftly.

Kenilworth Town Council awarded a Community Grant of £3,295.88 to Compassionate Kenilworth to enable this new essential role to continue.
