Kenilworth Community Network

Kenilworth Town Council recognises the importance of community engagement and how events can be used to engage with residents about issues that affect them. The Kenilworth Community Network aims to do just that!

Our Events

In each Civic Year (running from May to April) three Community Network events will be held, organised by KTC. These revamped Community Forums are an opportunity for residents to directly engage with the Town Council, your local Ward Councillor and other community representatives.

Kenilworth is one of the only town’s in the district who still hold such events. The Town Council believes these events are important to encourage active community participation, but we can’t do it alone and we need your help. In a relaxed cafe style setting, come along and talk to us, let us know the issues that concern you, tell us about topics you want to hear about and discuss. Each event will host representative’s from other local authorities/organisations and subject matters. If there is something specific on your mind let us know and we can include this.

Previous events have included:

– Policing Priorities – your local Safer Neighbourhood Team are always happy to be involved and engage with residents

– Major housing, business, leisure, cultural, transport and educational developments in the town – do you want to hear more about the development on the East of Kenilworth? The progress on Abbey Fields Swimming Pool?

– Community Initiatives – With many community groups thriving in our town, there is always something to report on and get involved with.

– The award of Community Grants – Did you know the Town Council awards community grants to local organisations and individuals for their work in the town? Would this be something you’d be interested in and be eligible for? Come and talk to us!

– The Council’s Focus – We have many projects on the go that we’d love to share and obtain our resident’s input. What do you think about our current Christmas Lights? Do you have an opinion on accessibility around the town centre? Would you like a tree planted on the verge outside of your home?

When and Where

The venue, timing and date of our Community Network events will vary so make sure you keep a watch on this page and on our social media platforms. We aim to attend venues across the town and vary the timings and platforms we use to engage with as many people as possible. Details of our next event will be displayed in the box on the right hand side of this page and the poster below.
