The Liaison Group is a long established Working Party which meets formally twice a year. As Landlords of the Castle, the Town Council works closely with English Heritage to discuss and monitor improvements and maintenance issues. The Group regularly reviews the Castle Pass Scheme and events being held, including the Mayor hosting a Boxing Day morning at the Castle. The Town Council receives updates on events and staffing changes and new initiative visitor information. The minutes of these meetings are published as Town Council enclosures.
