The Town Council awarded a Community Grant to the Kenilworth History and Archaeology Society to fund the purchase of a display cabinet to be installed in the upper floor of the Abbey Museum, known as the “barn”. The new cabinet holds the local Bronze Age exhibits which include fragments of an urn and an axe head.

With the new cabinet the society were able to update and re-organise their displays, including converting the old and damaged cabinet to accommodate a Trebuchet ball which they hope to loan from English Heritage.

Since installation, the museum has received 1,619 visitors.
