Lets sort it together – Recycle & Reuse

Warwickshire County Council has now received funding for a trail of ‘Lets sort it together’ at the Cherry Orchard recycling centre, which aims to increase the number of electrical items sorted for reuse and recycling.

Did you know that just over a third of rubbish sent to landfill at Cherry Orchard could have been reused or recycled? And that reuse and recycling are one of the easier ways to help combat climate change? Kenilworth Let’s sort it together will help you recycle more, do your bit for the environment and get recycling sorted.

Reusable working items can be dropped off at the age UK reuse shop, with the proceeds of sales going to projects delivered in Warwickshire. All electrical items sold in the shop are safety tested, and this gives the opportunity for people to purchase more reasonably priced household items.
