The Christmas Lights are being switched on in Kenilworth by way of two separate events this year!
The first will take place on Friday 28 November 2025 at the High Street from 5pm. This year expect some changes! The event has now been taken over by Kenilworth Town Council in collaboration with Old Town Community Events and the High Street Illuminations Committee!
The team are very excited and have lots of fantastic plans for creating a traditional and community themed event, supporting local and focussing on what makes Kenilworth and the High Street special 
Don’t expect too many changes this year as time constrains us all but we can’t wait for the event to evolve and become something truly unique.

After all, has anyone thought about how Santa makes it all the way to Kenilworth without his trusted REINDEER helpers!
Put the date in your diary and come along to visit Santa and his Reindeer friends on 28 November 2025 at the High Street Light Switch On event!!
Our second Light switch on event takes place in Warwick Road on Sunday 30 November 2025 from 1pm. This event is run by Warwick District Council. There will be market stalls, fairground rides, food and drink with the main entertainment beginning on the stage from 4pm. Santa will arrive from this time and will be joined by performances from local artists.
The lights will be switched on at 6pm by the Mayor of Kenilworth. The event finishes at 7pm.
