The ‘Covid-19 support Kenilworth’ group is working with the Kenilworth Town Council, Warwickshire County Council, Kenilworth Police team, Kenilworth Lions Club, Kenilworth Round Table, Church of England and other community groups and local businesses to provide support to residents who need help while they stay at home to avoid infection or while they recover from the effects of coronavirus.

The Government advises these groups to stay at home:

  • aged 70 or older
  • under 70 with an underlying health condition
  • those who are pregnant
  • those with high temperatures and/or dry cough

The local community can help you:

  • with shopping
  • with doctor’s prescriptions
  • with organising essential services
  • by giving reassurance

If you need help, please ring 01926 919340, email covid19kenilworth@gmail.com or make contact through Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/918643545308465/.

You will be asked about the help you need and for your name and address. The details will be given to a security-checked ‘street champion’ who will make contact showing photographic ID.

These details will also be delivered as a leaflet to each household in Kenilworth.

And remember to keep washing hands and to self-isolate if you feel unwell.  Refer to NHS Coronavirus for health information https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/
