New pathway at Kenilworth School now open

The Town Council’s Pedestrian Safety Task & Finish Group have been working with KMAT, WCC officers and Vistry Homes to progress the internal pedestrian and cycle route between Oakley Road (Stoneleigh View Estate) and the school, as per the condition to the relevant planning permission.

This has been a long process, however, thanks to the persistence of our members, the path has now been completed by Vistry and is available for pupils to use at the start and end of each school day.  By using this path they can avoid travelling down Glasshouse Lane in its current form.

This is a small step in the right direction and members remain committed to focussing on other key safety aspects surrounding the school.
