Ted Bear Receives an Award of Merit

Ted Bear, landlord at The Engine received an Award of Merit from the Mayor, Cllr Alison Firth at our recent Civic Dinner, in grateful recognition of his exceptional service to Kenilworth including various projects:

• twice a year prostate check events and fundraisers#Myton Hospice – fund raising over £50,000)
• men’s mental health talks and awareness events charities such as Mind and It Takes Balls to Talk
• charity golf days for various charities
• community help sponsoring rugby teams and football teams and the local allotment.
• twice a year litter pick events
