Tree Planting
Kenilworth Town Council will, once again, be coordinating a program of tree planting in early 2025. We already have a number of street side verge locations identified for 2025, however, we would like anybody who would like to have a new tree located outside their home to come forward so that we can consider their request. Please complete the form below to initiate this process.
Please note there are two important steps before any tree can be planted:
- The requesting resident must give their commitment to nurture the new tree in its early years e.g. watering regularly to avoid trees being thermally stressed during hot spells.
- The proposed location has to be assessed for its viability, which basically means that there are no overhanging cables which would present a challenge when the tree matures, and also to ensure there are no underground services e.g. cables etc that would affect the tree.
