County Councillors Grant Fund 2021/22 – Round 2

The County Councillors Grant Fund – Round 2 has now been launched and will close at 5 pm on Sunday 23rd January.  There are limited funds for this round so community and voluntary organisations are encouraged to check the website before applying to ensure the relevant Councillor has funding available

Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) Suicide Prevention Fund 2021-22

Please find below further details of the Government’s recently announced Suicide Prevention Fund 2021-22 for VCSE organisations. 

• The application portal for the grant fund opened on 2 December 2021 and will close at 5pm on 16 January 2022.
• The link contains full guidance for the fund, including eligibility criteria and support for the application process.
• Further guidance and support on the application process will be available through a webinar, which takes place on 7 December. You can register your interest to get updates for the fund and to attend the webinar via the web link below. A recording of the webinar will be available to view and will be posted on the website after the webinar is held.
• The grant fund is being administered by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) on behalf of DHSC.

Commissioner’s Grants Scheme Briefing for 2022/23 Applicants online event on Thursday 13th January from 1-3pm

You are invited to attend the Commissioner’s Grants Scheme Briefing for 2022/23 Applicants online event on Thursday 13th January from 1-3pm.

Projects and initiatives which help boost community safety and support victims across Warwickshire can find out more about the funding opportunities available through the Police and Crime Commissioner’s annual grants scheme.

The event will provide an overview of the funding streams which are available, details of the terms and conditions and the requirements that applicants will be asked to meet, as well as further information to help applicants make their bids for funding.

An overview of the new Police and Crime Plan for Warwickshire 2021-25 will also be provided , to ensure all applicants can fully understand how their initiative or proposal for funding can support one of the five key objectives of the plan.

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions about the application process and to speak to the Commissioner’s office staff who will be overseeing the grants process.

The event is open to both new applicants and previous recipients of grant funding.

Consultation on Warwickshire’s Vision for Bus Travel

Have your say on Warwickshire’s Vision for Bus Travel

The Warwickshire Bus Service Improvement Plan was published by Warwickshire County Council at the end of October 2021 and is available on the public transport webpage on the County Council website – https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/buses 

Two documents have been created:

• Warwickshire Enhanced Partnership (EP Plan); and
• Warwickshire EP Scheme 1

Both documents will be the subject of a statutory consultation running between Tuesday 4 January 2022 to Tuesday 1 February 2022 (inclusive).We would like communities and businesses to have a say in the consultation over these documents, which set out the next steps. You can contribute via the following weblink:
