About

Park Hill Ward lies to the east of Kenilworth from Abbey Fields to the A46, and comprises mainly 19th and 20th century housing developments, in a well-cared for and attractive setting. Park Hill includes “Knights Meadow” an estate built in the 80s which is characterised by a wide variety of housing designs and types. It has an open road and pedestrian path network, together with attractive and unexpected areas of open spaces. At present there is little employment in Park Hill and most residents commute to their workplaces; the local service centres are Whitemoor Rd and Leyes Lane. A brand-new secondary school is being built on green land on the outskirts of Park Hill, where a number of formal and informal leisure sites can be found including the Rugby, Golf and Cricket Clubs and pretty walking routes to open countryside such as Rocky Lane. Further housing, primary school and employment sites are currently being built plot by plot in a band of development known as “Land East of Kenilworth” curving and infilling to the A46 from south Kenilworth as far as the new secondary school at Crewe Lane.
