About

Dalehouse ward lies on the northern edge of Kenilworth with Finham Brook forming the centre line, and is bounded by Dalehouse Lane and Coventry Road on either side.  To the North the ward borders on greenbelt land, which is now being sliced up by HS2.  Towards the town centre most of the houses date from the 19th century, while further out homes have been added throughout the 20th century, with the newest estate known as Kenilworth Corner completed in 2021.   There are three areas of small businesses off Crackley Hill, Common Lane and Dalehouse Lane providing local employment.  There are two small shopping areas on Common Lane and Albion Street, and a number of popular pubs in the ward.  The Odibourne Allotments and the local nature reserve at the Common provide a green corridor through the heart of the ward, and many residents take advantage of the Kenilworth Greenway for walking and cycling.
